Sean grew up as a loving brother to his three sisters and married his high-school sweetheart in January of 2022. Sean graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and he currently works as an insurance underwriter. Sean loves running, playing golf, grilling, and taking on new home improvement projects, especially outdoor projects. Sean is an avid sports fan and he especially loves watching professional baseball and football. Sean is known to be laid back, easy-going, gentle, and extremely loyal to his family and friends. Sean’s deep relationship with God is directly expressed in the love he has for the people in his life.

Karly grew up as the youngest of four girls in her family and she was excited to marry her high-school sweetheart after 8 years of dating. Karly graduated college with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Political Science. After college, Karly went on to become a Police Officer in a local police department and she’s been in law enforcement for 3 years now. In her free time, Karly loves golfing, running, making classic cocktails, spending time with her nieces and nephews, trying new cooking recipes, and watching her favorite sports teams. Karly is known to be thoughtful, driven, and extremely loyal to her family and friends. The most important parts of Karly’s life are her faith in Jesus Christ, as well as her roles as wife, daughter, sister, and aunt.

We met as freshman in high school and then dated throughout high school and college. We have shared the same faith, interests, and family traditions which has led to a strong foundation for our relationship. Sean proposed on the 7th anniversary of our dating relationship and we were married in January of 2022. We settled down in the same area where we grew up and we enjoy being around our families who also live in the area.

Faith and family are the foundations of our lives. Our free time is primarily spent with our parents, sisters, brothers, in-laws, and nieces and nephews, especially on our weekends. We love playing golf and watching professional baseball, especially in the spring and summertime. One of our favorite traditions is vacation in the Outer Banks with our family. We haven’t travelled the world but we have found joy in the simple things of our hometown: good restaurants, beautiful scenery, and quality time spent with our loved ones.

We both come from bigger families who value quality family time and who have been extremely encouraging and supportive in the adoption journey. Every weekend is spent with family and all parents and siblings live within an hour of each other. Both sets of our parents raised their children to know the love and importance of family and this has led to a strong family bond and many long-lasting traditions. The deep love and encouragement of a strong family is something that we hope to pass down to our future children.

We bought our first home in February of 2025 and we own a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, townhome in the suburbs. Our home is an end unit townhouse in a townhome neighborhood with many young families and a playground. Our home is walking distance from a beautiful borough with many restaurants, playgrounds, schools, sports fields and courts. Our neighborhood is also surrounded with much farmland and open space and we live a short distance from a scenic river with a walking trail.
