Meet Mark and Dana

Hello! Thank you so much for taking a moment to learn about us. We are grateful simply to be considered in your decision.

Our journey to parenthood has been a long road, but it has only strengthened our resolve to share our love with a child. We have been hoping and preparing to become parents since getting married in 2017. While we initially attempted to have a biological child, that path ultimately led us to adoption - a choice we have embraced with full hearts. We are incredibly hopeful about the future and are ready to provide a home filled with laughter, stability, and unconditional love.

It is important to us that your child is safe, happy, and loved. We want your child to know their story and to always speak of you with respect and gratitude. We are committed to keeping that connection alive. We would love to send you regular pictures and letters, sharing milestones and special moments as he/she grows up. We are open to discussing what form of communication works best for you. Thank you again for looking at our profile and considering us as potential parents.

Home Sweet Home in PA

Our story covers quite a few miles, but our destination has always been the same: building a loving family. A major chapter of our lives involved packing up and moving to a few different areas in the hopes of landing a better career to support our family. From Pittsburgh, we moved to Charlotte in 2018, Denver in 2023, and back to Pittsburgh in the summer in 2025. That cross-country journey taught us that "home" isn’t just a zip code; it’s who you’re with.

Our Village

We know that it takes a village to raise a child, and we are lucky to have a fun, loving and supportive one. Our family and friends have been cheering us on through our journey to become parents, and they are anxiously awaiting the news that there is a child to love. Most of our family lives nearby, which means holidays are big, loud, and full of food. We can’t wait to share the new addition with the family.

Meet Cora

Cora is our black mini-dachshund mix. Don’t let her size fool you—she runs the house! She is sweet and gentle with people and loves children. She keeps us active with her love for fetch and walks, but her favorite thing is a good nap in the sun.

Our Adventures

We believe life is about balance. We love being active, but we also enjoy relaxing at home. Since moving back to Pittsburgh from Colorado, we’ve loved reconnecting with the city while keeping our love for the outdoors alive. On weekends, you’ll likely find us cheering on the Steelers, Penguins, or Pirates - we are huge Pittsburgh sports fans and can’t wait to take a little one to their first game.

Our Promise

We promise to love your child unconditionally. We promise to honor you and your story in our home. We promise to provide every opportunity for them to learn, grow, and be exactly who they are meant to be.

Thank you for considering us.
