We met at church one Sunday morning, Kristin had come to church because Brock was sharing about a recent mission’s trip he had just been on. We didn’t date initially. We had both ended up going to Liberia on a mission’s trip together. It was soon after that where we started dating, and not to long after that we were married and beginning our new adventure together!

Family is our focus. We have one biological son, Judah, who is 2 years old. He is a ball of joy, social, energetic, and loves playing with other kids. We spend a lot of our time serving our church and community. Most days are filled with family gatherings and dinner at Mimi and Papa’s house (Kristin’s parents). We are blessed with a big, exciting family that certainly keeps us busy. We love taking our annual beach vacation in Emerald Isle and are constantly looking for new adventures.

 

Brock grew up in Meadville. Immediately following high school, he joined the Army National Guard, where he served for 6 years. In 2015 Brock moved to Corry where he would start his apprenticeship as a tattoo artist. Soon after that he would explore a few other career changes. He spent some time doing construction and working in a group home. Brock also has spent a lot of time in other countries throughout his life serving as a missionary. Some of those countries being Guatemala, Honduras, and Liberia. Brock is super outgoing and always ready to have fun. Brock now serves as the Associate pastor and director of youth ministry at our church here in Corry. Brock loves reading, kayaking, working out, and playing guitar.

Kristin grew up here in Corry. She graduated from Edinboro University with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Kristin is a running junkie. She has competed in countless Triathlons, and an Ironman race. She is competitive to the core, and always ready for an adventure. Kristin comes alive when she is outside, kayaking, hiking, running, or on the beach. Kristin also spent some time in other countries as a missionary, some of those countries being Mozambique, Israel, and Liberia. We are blessed to have Kristin stay at home with our son during the days. Kristin is a natural born leader. She is bold and courageous and fights for truth. She has a heart of gold and will go out of her way to help anyone.

 

We are incredibly blessed to have a big loving family. Kristin’s family, except for her brother, all live within a mile of us. That includes her mother and father, 2 sisters, 1 brother-in-law and 9 nephews and 2 nieces. Not too many days go by where we aren’t all together, eating dinner, playing games, or just hanging out at Mimi and Papa’s. Our whole family is incredibly close and loving! Brock’s family lives with a bit more distance, but they make the trip out to visit once every few months and for holidays. There is lots of love to go around and they are so excited for our journey through adoption.

We live in a cute 2 story, 3 bedroom house that sits up on a little hill on the corner of our street. Being on the corner gives us plenty of space for playtime! We have a front porch that is good for enjoying summer evenings. We have a big yard that allows plenty of room to run around, and a nice back yard that is set up for evening campfires, picnics and grilling on the weekends!
