Shawn and I have been together for almost nine years now, and I can honestly say that there has never been a dull moment.  We are both active and adventurous people, and we have never gotten bored with each other's company.  We feel fortunate that we have been able to take a lot of great vacations togeher.  Our honeymoon was in Brazil.  We spent two weeks in Scotland hiking over one hundred miles on a trail called the West Highland Way.  We have had some great hiking trips out west including Glacier National Park in Montana, the Grand Tetons National Park in Wyoming, Yellow Stone National Park and Lake Tahoe in California.  Other than traveling together, we both play bagpipe and drum band.  We have taken a lot of weekend trips with the band to play at shows and competitions.  We have also taken quite a few trips for running races and triathlons. With our busy schedules, the thing we look forward to the most is time together to relax and enjoy each other's company.  We make it a point to eat dinner together almost every night of the week.  We both prefer home cooked meals to eating out.  Just spending time at home together relaxing, reading or even taking a nap is probably the time we look forward to the most.
