Our home is a brick cape cod style house in the suburbs with a good school district.  It sits on a one-acre lot with a large fenced back yard and a deck.  We fenced the yard so that our two dogs would be able to run and play outside without us worrying about them roaming away from the house.  We have an ideal yard for kids to play, and someday we would like to add a swing set and a sandbox to make a nice play area for children.  We also live very close to parks and walking trails where we love to take  the dogs to walk and play.  When we are at home, we spend a lot of time working on our home improvement projects.  It has taken about five years and a lot of work, but we have enjoyed seeing the results of our projects.  The one project we are most looking forward to completing is the room that will be our nursery. It has been disappointing for us to see the room we had always hoped to be a nursery sit empty, but we are praying that adoption may change that for us.  We consider becoming parents to be the greatest adventure of all, and are hoping it may be a reality for us someday soon.  Having a family would truly make our house a home.
