We met in 1997.  After 2 years of dating, we were engaged on New Years Day.  We were married 8 months later.  When we were first married, we enjoyed our time together by going to Steeler and Pirate games, dinner or game nights with family and friends, traveled and spent a lot time doing outdoor activities.  We also enjoyed woodworking projects and made several items together, such as benches, a hope chest, sidetable and a bench seat that went around a tree trunk.  We always knew we wanted children and were honored when God chose adoption for us.
