We are very excited that you are considering adoption and taking the time to view our profile.  It is hard to tell you everything about us with a few short paragraphs and some pictures, but we will try to give you an idea about the type of people we are and about our views on adoption.  Our names are Shawn and Stephanie, and we have been happily married for 6 years.  We live in a brick cape cod style home in the suburbs with our two dogs, a border collie named Lucy and yellow lab named Champ.  From the day we met, we have enjoyed many of the same interests and activities including our love of music, physical fitness and sports.  We live a full and happy life together, and we feel that we have received many blessings in our life.  We had always planned on having children and raising a family together, but for the past five years have been unable to start a family on our own.  Infertility has been a long and difficult struggle for us, but we have discovered new hope and a deeper sense of the meaning of family through adoption.  We would consider it the greatest gift we could ever receive to bring a child into our lives and to raise the child with all the love and care we have to offer.
